A mid-19th century French Jacob Petit porcelain cased mantel clock, the movement has silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the workings of the clock are stamped with 'Raingo Freres Paris' mark as is the face, the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals, the rococo scroll moulded porcelain case and integral stand painted with floral panels within white and gilt borders, underglaze blue 'JP' maker's mark.
