A beautiful Chinese jar that has a tall round body with a golden lion/foo dog lid, and is hand painted in Famille rose style.
Two panels have colorful hand-painted illustrations of a wealthy nobleman/scholar's house interior the two other panels depict flowers at a riverside with birds above, on the bottom is a red square Qianlong stamp. This is a finely crafted, beautifully illustrated, pottery work and is in great condition.
