Lovely Victorian lady's chair with a lovely solid mahogany show frame with decorative carving at the top and to the shoulders of the front legs. The chair has an over-upholstered sprung seat with a serpentine front and an upholstered button-back. It is supported on cabriole legs at the front and squared and splayed legs at the back, which terminate in later metal castors. Overall the condition is good with some age-related wear and marks. Circa 1870.
