An unusual 19th-century Victorian pre-dieu chair (prayer chair) has a beautiful carved and pierced surround to the high upholstered chair back. A wonderfully carved frame supports the upholstered seat and is raised on carved cabriole front legs and out swept rear legs. We have left the chair as it is but someone may wish to give the seat covering some attention.
