Mid Century Factory Workers Chair

This fabulous industrial swivel chair was most likely made in the 1950’s. A classic mid-century British factory worker chair and could possibly be made by Birmingham-based Tan Sad. Made of tubular metal, the seat revolves 360 degrees, and the backrest adjusts for comfort via rubber supports. The strong base incorporates a circular footrest for user comfort. The chair swivels and is also height adjustable with a good range of height. It is in very good condition, the original brown finish showing typical wear for its age. The seat and back are upholstered with what we believe to be hard-wearing rexine.
